Dr Shivani Tomar is a highly qualified dental surgeon and orthodontist with specialist expertise in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics. She completed her BDS at Dr Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College & Hospital (ZADCH), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, before pursuing her MDS in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. She subsequently furthered her clinical and academic experience whilst serving as a Senior Resident at AIIMS, New Delhi.
She holds the distinction of being the first orthodontist in Aligarh to have received her specialist training at AIIMS, New Delhi, bringing advanced orthodontic knowledge and contemporary treatment techniques to her clinical practice.
Since 2018, Dr Tomar has been practising at Vijay Dental and Orthodontic Clinic, Aligarh, with a particular focus on orthodontics, the correction of dentofacial deformities, smile enhancement and dentofacial aesthetics.
In addition to her specialist expertise in orthodontics, Dr Tomar has extensive clinical experience across dental implants, endodontics, periodontics, paediatric dentistry, restorative dentistry and a wide range of dental surgical procedures. Her multidisciplinary experience supports comprehensive care with careful consideration of each patient’s functional and aesthetic requirements.
Dr Tomar also has a strong academic and research background and has authored and co-authored several research papers published in respected scientific journals. Her AIIMS training, academic excellence, research experience and extensive clinical practice underpin her commitment to evidence-based, contemporary and patient-centred dental care.
